Bonnie is allowing us to post something that we like, well she gave us a new texture pdpa Mauve Threads, so I just had to play. I took two photographs that I took on my river cruise, the first is inside the dinning room and the second is of antique dolls from a visit to an amazing memorabilia center (the frog bath was from there as well). I used Bonnie’s tips on painting and applied the new texture.
The second photograph was taken today while I was down town, it is an iron structure in which bougainvillea will be trained to grow up, this shot is looking up, I applied the texture Drips of Degas at hard light.
The structures.
Thank you for visiting and please remember to visit Photo Art Friday to view other entries.

These iron structures are very interesting and bet they will be fascinating when they are covered with flowers. Your processing is lovely!
Lovely edits. I really like the second one!
Ooh, I love both of these! The “sketch” is wonderful, and I love the texture on the second one.
I just love your second shot!!!
Wow these are really great. Such a difference between the subject material. The Dolls look like a drawing and the texture is really interesting. I love those Structures and your edit is pretty cool.
Kaylene, these are fantastic!
Your photos and your blog posts are lovely. Nice work!
These edits are as diverse as your talents, Kaylene! The first is intriguing and I love how, with your addition of a texture, you have made the structure look like it is already supporting blooms. Thank you for sharing your artwork with Photo Art Friday.
So very well done…loved the angle of the structure.
